After two years in Korea, Indy is still my favorite Indian restaurant. It’s a little pricey, but less so than other Indian places I’ve been to and the food is much better. The crowd that frequents here is as diverse as it gets – a great mix of foreigners (of all kinds) and Koreans. The staff here speaks excellent English (menus are in English as well) and is very kind and helpful. The decor is lovely and it feels very warm and festive inside. The restaurant itself is too small for its popularity so dinner time is always very crowded. Be prepared to wait anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour, even during the week. My personal favorites are the palak paneer, chicken tikka masala, ghost kadai, lamb vindaloo, and the samosas. I also think it’s totally worth it to spring the 5,000 for the basmati rice instead of the steamed Korean rice. Because of it’s close proximity to Time World and Government Complex, it’s a great place for groups to gather before a night on the town or to take a date before going to the movies. Indy closes at 10pm with the last seating around 9pm.

Atmosphere (Out of 5)
4- If only it were bigger and just a tad bit less sterile.

Service (Out of 5)
3- Everyone on the staff is so kind and accommodating (and they all speak excellent English) but because the place is so popular, service often runs on the slow side.

Food (Out of 5)
4- I love the food here! It’s not as pricey as other Indian places and the food here is quality and comes in fairly generous portions.
