Gregory Pence is a Fulbright Junior Researcher affiliated with Yonsei University in the field of international relations. His research project, “Land of the Morning Calm?,” is a comparative study of protest art in the two Koreas. The original drawings featured below are based on his research of Korean nationalism through the lens of protest art and propaganda.
