City Guide Review: Greenhouse (Changwon)

Greenhouse, the prized cafe and bakery of northern Changwon, is not only my preferred place for whole wheat loaves and baguettes, but it is also the perfect spot for brunch. Located in a quieter neighborhood, with little noise but lots of light, the second-floor cafe of this charming establishment is almost — as its name suggests — a place where you can relax, rejuvenate, and grow. And eat.
City Guide Review: Ddeokbokki Plus (Naju)
While you may feel like a middle school student again in this restaurant with green neon decor, the Frozen soundtrack in the background, and the motherly attention of the owners, the student price you pay and the epic availability of cheese ddeok (always in too short supply in conventional ddeokbokki) make Ddeokbokki Plus a must-eat for any Naju visitors.
City Guide Review: Venus Kitchen (Seoul)

At Venus Kitchen, a restaurant tucked into a Hongdae alleyway, indie electronic jazz wafts through four floors of laid back southern Japanese vintage design. The food is a high quality bargain, and the scene is an unpretentious chance to experience a unique cuisine. Part Japanese, part Hawaiian, all delicious, Venus Kitchen specializes in Okinawa/Southern Island Japanese dishes.
