Tokyoloose is located in a small side alley in one of Busan’s most hip and cafe-saturated districts. The decor could be described as “adorable French countryside and Japanese kawaii aesthetic mashup.” It’s all vintage tables, lace doilies, stuffed animals, pastel colors, and smooth jazz. Cute things abound, and there’s even a little corner to play “dress-up” with random accessories while you wait for your order. Being on the second floor with wide windows, the cafe is wonderfully bright, and it’s a great place to hang out and chat with friends. Almost all of the patrons are women, with a few couples. Free WiFi!
While the service speed was not the fastest, perhaps the service style made up for it. The waitresses wear 40s-esque brown and blue school uniforms, and they are extremely attentive (almost absurdly so; they will run to open the door for you as you leave). My friends and I got a 서비스 of strawberry mint water and, later, fruit tea.
We ordered: Green tea latte (4500), Banana chocolate cake (5000 and absolutely divine), Citron smoothie (5000), and Citron tea (4000). By the way, you must pay right after you order, even though you order from your table and not at the front cash register. Somewhat confusing.
