While you may feel like a middle school student again in this restaurant with green neon decor, the Frozen soundtrack in the background, and the motherly attention of the owners, the student price you pay and the epic availability of cheese ddeok (always in too short supply in conventional ddeokbokki) make Ddeokbokki Plus a must-eat for any Naju visitors.

This newer burger joint opened up earlier this year. Located in Gung-dong, Daejeon’s university district, Buns-n-Stuff offers a cheaper, but equally delicious, alternative to House Grill. Burgers are simple but customizable.

From its humble beginnings as a food truck, Grill5Taco now has two bustling locations in Hongdae and Gangnam’s Apgujeong neighborhood. The reasonably priced tacos, burritos and quesadillas combine Korean and Mexican flavors, and they offer free, unlimited nacho chips as well as authentic guacamole. Need I say more?
