“I’m fine, thank you, and you?” Fulbright grantees have probably heard this line more times than they care to count. When I ask my students “How are you?” more often than not they automatically chirp, “I’m fine, thank you, and you?” It’s a simple answer to a simple question — one so ubiquitous that it even has its own song.
Opera in the East

“You. Sing.” Cheong Ho pointed to the book he’d just placed on my music stand, a vocal score for Gian-Carlo Menotti’s opera, “Amahl and the Night Visitors.” He flipped open the cover and traced his finger down through the character list, stopping on the last role: The Page.
Photo of the Month: May 2014

The Fulbright Infusion’s monthly photo contest is a fun way to allow our community to share snapshots of their experiences in South Korea and beyond. March marks the beginning of a new school year, and thus “Back to School” is this month’s theme. This months’ winning photo, by Helen Li (ETA ’13-’14), shows some of Helen’s high school students performing “Let it Go” at their school’s opening ceremony.
