The Places We Go: I

From towering mountains and stunning blue oceans to quiet cafes and candle-lit temples, the ETA experience can take you anywhere. Whether it’s visiting a country for the first time or enjoying the scenic route home from work, there are always new places to explore.
Urbanity

South Korea is a miracle of modern urbanity, emerging from the shambles of the Korean War to become one of the most developed countries in the world today. Alongside glistening skyscrapers and high-rise apartments, the streets of Korea also offer small marvels: food carts, murals, a hidden door. This gallery documents the Fulbrighter experience with cityscapes, from everyday sights to views from afar.

Captured through the lens of Fulbright English Teaching Assistants, these portraits offer a glimpse into the lives of the diverse humans who shape our experiences in Korea and beyond, whether as homestay siblings or passing strangers on the street.
